WARSAW — Wyoming County Sheriff Greg Rudolph mentioned this morning that he has canceled the boating advisory and “no wake zone” for Silver Lake that went into impact Sunday.
The cancellation went into impact at 8 a.m. immediately.
Silver Lake was not closed whereas the advisory and 5 mph “no wake zone” had been in impact. Weekend rains and flooding prompted the lake to rise a number of inches and as much as the docks, which might trigger broken boats and property. The flooding positioned particles on the lake. The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Workplace and New York State Park Police Marine Models elevated patrols monitoring the lake.
